Colorful Candy Corn Chex Mix

Makes 1 Extra-Large Bowl

For the Mix

1 12-ounce box
Rice Chex
1 7-ounce bag
3 cups
1 heaping cup
Candy Corn
1 heaping cup
Candy Corn Pumpkins
1 8-ounce bag
Reese’s Pieces

For the Sauce

¾ cup
2 tablespoons
vanilla extract
¾ cup
packed brown sugar

Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.

For the mix, place the Rice Chex, Bugles, and pretzels in an extra-large bowl. For the sauce, place the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and melt. Add the vanilla extract and brown sugar into the bowl with the melted butter; whisk until the brown sugar dissolves. Pour the sauce over the cereal mixture; stir gently until evenly coated.

Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper. Pour the coated cereal mixture evenly onto the two baking sheets; spread the cereal mixture out in even layers. Place the baking sheets in the oven; bake the cereal mixture for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove baking sheets from oven and allow the cereal mixture to cool. Note: While the cereal mixture is baking, clean the extra-large bowl for use later.

Once cooled, place cereal mixture back into the extra-large bowl. Add all of the candy corn and Reese’s Pieces to the extra-large bowl; stir to combine. If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container.
